Youth Suicide Prevention Awareness Training
Youth suicide prevention awareness training is a three-and-a-half-hour session suitable for those working with youth. It helps recognise early signs of suicidal thoughts and understand the underlying issues youth face which can cause suicidal thoughts.
- The course builds confidence in the ability to support vulnerable young people, reducing the risk of a suicide attempt being made.
- We provide information about relevant suicide support services which young people can access in the Bexley Borough.
- This training is suitable for anyone working with young people, who wants to improve their understanding of suicide prevention. It’s especially relevant to those who work with young people who may be struggling with life.
- Participants will be able to support youth at their most vulnerable moments.
- Training can be provided in person or virtually using Microsoft Teams.
