Introducing the Mental Health First Aid course

While progress has been made, stigma surrounding mental health continues to remain. Mental health challenges can arise at any time, affect anyone, and can often drastically impact lives.

Unlike physical health, many of us lack the knowledge or tools to care for our mental wellbeing. As a result, people may not know how to support a friend, family member, or colleague facing mental health struggles — or where to seek help for their own.

That’s where our Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course comes in. Just as physical first aid teaches you how to respond in a medical emergency, MHFA equips you with the knowledge and skills to identify, understand, and support someone experiencing a mental health issue.

This course helps you build confidence in offering initial help, directing people to appropriate support, and fostering a safe and inclusive environment—whether at work, home, or in your community. Together, we can break the stigma and create a culture that prioritises mental wellbeing.
