Mind in Bexley has won an award for its Open Spaces allotments project
Congratulations to Helen Fisher, our allotment team and clients for all their hard work that lead to Mind in Bexley winning the Gold award and 1st Place for best allotment.
The award was presented to Helen Fisher by the Mayor of Bexley Cllr Sue Gower MBE.
The Ruxley in Bloom awards are independently judged by the London Gardens Society and our allotments in Alers Road, Bexleyheath was judged the best in the Best Full Size Allotment category.
The Open Spaces project is available on Mondays at 10am, Thursday at 10am and Fridays at 12pm.
Gardening and food growing has a range of benefits; it is physically active, mentally healthy, a place to meet people, and builds confidence.
