Mind in Bexley CEO Dr David Palmer Received an Outstanding Achievement Award

We are delighted to announce that our CEO, Dr David Palmer, has been honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the London Borough of Bexley Civic Recognition Awards, held last night at the Civic Offices in Bexleyheath.
This prestigious award, presented by the Mayor of Bexley, Sue Gower MBE, recognises individuals who have made a significant and lasting impact in the local community.
The Civic Awards Scheme celebrates the dedication, compassion, and leadership of those who go above and beyond to improve the lives of others in the Borough.
Upon receiving the award, Dr Palmer shared his gratitude and reflected on the collective effort behind the achievement:
“I am deeply honoured to receive this Outstanding Achievement Award, which symbolises not just my individual efforts but the unwavering commitment of our entire team at Mind in Bexley and the wider community to mental health advocacy.
“Together, we have forged pathways for peer support, crisis intervention, recovery and prevention initiatives, and meaningful collaboration with the wider community, local businesses, and educational institutions. This award inspires me to continue amplifying the voices of our residents and to strive for a future where every resident can access the support they need to thrive.”
