Mind in Bexley is hosting an evening celebration event for our Project Ambassadors – local barbers, salons, and tattoo artists who have completed mental health awareness training and are now equipped to recognise signs of common mental health challenges and signpost customers to additional support should it be required.

If you have not yet signed up to be a part of this award-wining project this event will be the perfect opportunity to find out more and discover how your business and staff can make a real difference to the people of Bexley.

This event has kindly been sponsored by Peter at The Star, Sidcup, who has also offered to provide a light buffet and welcome drink to guests attending.

The event will feature a few short speeches, a briefing on the impact and scheme mechanics of the project, networking, and the formal badging ceremony where current Wellbeing Ambassadors have their involvement celebrated. The Mayor of Bexley, Cllr Christine Catterall, will present badges and certificates to the Wellbeing Ambassadors who have completed the training.

Expected event format:

  • 6pm-6:30pm – Guests arrive and receive welcome drink.
  • 6:30pm-7pm – Speeches and Badge Presentation ceremony.
  • 7pm-7.15pm – Group photocall.
  • 7.15pm – Evening drinks and networking.
  • 9pm – Ends.

NOTE: If you had not yet received your Wellbeing Ambassador training you are welcome to attend to find out more about the initiative. We will make contact with you to arrange a date to deliver your training.
