Routine Fitness Club – Bringing Festive Joy to Local Families

Mind in Bexley was proud to once again support Routine Fitness Club with its annual Christmas Gift Appeal, helping to ensure that children across the Borough were able to experience the joy and excitement of Christmas during challenging times.

Following an incredible response from the local community and Routine Fitness Club members, the collection concluded successfully and their staff delivered them to Mind in Bexley to begin distributing the donated presents to families in need.

This year, gifts were distributed to 27 families from across the London Borough of Bexley, helping to ease some of the pressures caused by the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

Based on Broadway in Bexleyheath, Routine Fitness Club partnered once again with Mind in Bexley and our Bexley Community Pantry ensured donations reached those who needed them most. Together, the teams worked to distribute thoughtful, age-appropriate gifts directly to families experiencing financial hardship.

This collaboration built on the success of last year’s appeal, which also saw strong community support and made a meaningful difference to local children and parents at Christmas.

Community Support in Action

Donations of gifts for children aged 1–16 were collected throughout December at Routine Fitness Club. Thanks to the generosity of gym members, local residents and businesses, the appeal provided much-needed festive cheer and reassurance to families who were doing their very best in difficult circumstances.

“Words aren’t enough to express how delighted we were with the response from the community. The generosity shown through the Christmas Gift Appeal and Toy Run was truly heart-warming. It was a real pleasure to help distribute the presents to families and to see the joy they brought to both children and parents at such an important time of year.

“Thanks to Luke, George and Routine Fitness Club staff and members, as well as everyone who played a part in providing such happiness for local families.”
