Carers event in Bexleyheath – another chance to see our Carers Exhibition: “Navigating the Journeys of Unpaid Mental Health Carers”

The Mayor of Bexley Cllr Christine Catterall looking at our carers exhibition in Thamesmead
Staff from Mind in Bexley will be at the Carers Event at the Holiday Inn in Bexleyheath on Wednesday 9th July. The event takes place between 10am and 2pm.
Organised by Bexley Carers Partnership, the event gives unpaid carers from across the Borough of Bexley the opportunity to recharge their batteries and access support.
There will be a gift bag for all carers on arrival, a free buffet lunch and refreshments. The event will also provice information and advice on hand from local organisations who work with carers and free activities such as massage, reiki and gentle exercises.
Mind in Bexley will also be hosting a moving exhibition dedicated to the voices of unpaid carers supporting loved ones with mental health challenges.
The exhibition has been written by our CEO Dr David Palmer and shines a light on an often-hidden crisis. If you cannot attend the event, we have made the exhibition available in a smaller A5 version and will have copies available free of charge. You can also download a PDF version of the Exhibition, please click here: Carers Booklet
