Two Inspiring Runners Take On the London Marathon for Mind in Bexley

On 26 April 2026, two brave runners will be lacing up their trainers and stepping onto one of the most iconic race routes in the world to take on the TCS London Marathon.

They running to support Mind in Bexley and its vital work to improve mental health and wellbeing across the Borough.

Their 26.2-mile journey through the streets of London won’t just be a personal challenge – it will be a powerful act to support people living with mental health problems in our community. From Cutty Sark to Buckingham Palace, the London Marathon offers runners an unforgettable experience, with tens of thousands lining the streets to cheer them on and help turn every step into hope and support.

Running for a Cause

Both runners have taken on the challenge of fundraising for Mind in Bexley, an independent local mental health charity dedicated to providing support, raising awareness, and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Both runners have taken on the challenge of fundraising for Mind in Bexley, an independent local mental health charity dedicated to providing support, raising awareness, and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

By committing to the marathon, they are also pledging to raising significant funds that will help the charity continue delivering services and community activities that make a real difference to people’s lives.
