Firms urged to use bathroom to support wellbeing

Mind in Bexley is encouraging businesses to support an innovative campaign to boost the mental wellbeing of staff and the general public.

The humble toilet door has been enlisted as the delivery mechanism of the charity’s new information campaign. Organisations are given a special information poster they can attach to loo doors which promote the mental wellbeing support delivered by the charity. Posters are designed with a QR code to give immediate access to the charity’s website.

Simon Dolby, Development Lead at Mind and Bexley said: “We are keen to encourage businesses to collaborate with us to put this underused space to work. The concept has been tested at a small number of locations and has proved to be a big hit with staff on site.”
