Mind in Bexley Launches New Recovery College Prospectus for October–December 2025

Mind in Bexley has published our latest Recovery College Prospectus. It sets out a full programme of free courses, groups and workshops running from October to December 2025.

The activities we provide are open to anyone aged 18 or over who lives, works, volunteers, or has a GP in Bexley.

The Recovery College is built around the Ways to Wellbeing: Be Active, Keep Learning, Connect, and Take Notice.

These are evidence-based principles, promoted by the NHS and leading mental health organisations. They have been shown to improve mental health, boost resilience and support recovery.

  • Be Active: yoga, tai chi, Pilates, drumming and movement, wellbeing walks in Danson Park, meditation practice, and eco-therapy through gardening at Open Spaces
  • Keep Learning: workshops on money management, anger and anxiety, body image, routine building, confidence and assertiveness, suicide awareness, and creative writing
  • Connect: our supportive social groups including Men’s Group, Women’s Group, Young Adults’ Project, Christmas and New Year activities, and regular peer- support sessions
  • Take Notice: creative and reflective sessions such as art club, journaling, photography, sleep and relaxation techniques, and visualising intentions and affirmations

In addition to courses, our Prospectus also outlines support services. These include the Digital Hub, Carers Service and Individual Placement Support (IPS) for employment. The services give people access to practical tools as well as social and emotional support.
