Employment Advisor Swarn Brar at the Job Fair

A team from Mind in Bexley were at the Job Fair in Bexleyheath on Wednesday 21st February.

Employment Advisors Swarn Brar and Ismael Hussein were on hand at the Job Centre, on the Broadway in Bexleyheath, to talk to the public about the help that Mind in Bexley can provide.

Mind in Bexley’s Swarn Brar said: “The job fair was a get together with local employers/businesses, for clients to share what we do and how we can support them. We had gone to get in touch with local employers to discuss what vacancies they had.

“We advised clients that we did not have any current vacancies, but were there to promote other services for Mind along with how to refer to us, the support we could help them with looking for work along with in-work support plus interview prep and careers advice. The job fair went really well and we were able to liaise with many employers along with local businesses and clients.”
