Thank you to our fundraiser Billy for taking on an incredible challenge in aid of Mind in Bexley!
See below why he decided to fundraise for us:
“With it being Mental Health Awareness month, I decided to set up a fundraiser to spread awareness and to raise some money to give back to Mind in Bexley – the charity that helped me out previously when I was struggling with my mental health.
I decided to challenge myself to cycle 555km over the course of 25 days.
I chose 555km because the number can symbolise to stay positive, confident and aware of everything that happens within your inner being, no matter what life throws at you, which I found to be really fitting to the cause.
It’s been great to spread awareness by wearing the MIND vest whilst out cycling and to also raise a significant amount of money that I know will go a long way!”
Billy raised over £3000 for Mind in Bexley!
