Full and part time hours considered
Salary £38,000 per annum

A fantastic opportunity for a Qualified, accredited Senior Counsellor to assist with the operation of the Mind in Bexley IAPT Counselling team. Reporting directly to the Counselling Lead.

To work within a framework which abides by all the policies of Mind in Bexley, including equal opportunities, confidentiality, health and safety. Promoting Social inclusion, empowerment, wellbeing and the Recovery model. You will also be required to maintain good liaison with any other outside agencies as necessary.

To provide clinical supervision to Counsellors in the IAPT service according to BACP guidelines.

To apply for this role, you will need to have a counselling qualification and accreditation with BACP (or similar). A diploma in supervision is essential.  Ideally, you will need previous experience working in IAPT alongside experience in using case management systems. Experience of digital working, and working with clients using a short term solution focused approach is a requirement of this role.  Applicants will need to demonstrate their ability to adapt within an NHS funded service that is constantly changing, to meet new demands.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.  Applicants must have experience of using an electronic patient management system, and have a good understanding of the IAPT model.
