SUMMARY:World Suicide Prevention Day Conference 2026
DESCRIPTION:The eighth annual World Suicide Prevention Day Conference and Service of Remembrance will take place online on Thursday 10 September 2026. \n\n\n\nWorld Suicide Prevention Day is an opportunity to reduce stigma\, raise awareness and encourage meaningful conversations about suicide and suicide prevention. \n\n\n\nThe event is being organised by partners from the South East London Suicide Bereavement Service: Mind in Bexley\, South East London Mind\, and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. \n\n\n\nThe conference will highlight important work taking place in suicide prevention and include contributions from people with lived experience of losing someone to suicide. \n\n\n\nChaplains from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust will also lead a non-denominational service of remembrance. This will provide an opportunity to remember people who have died by suicide\, whether they were known personally or professionally. \n\n\n\nThe event will be held online and is open to anyone interested in attending.
