In addition to our Recovery College workshops and courses the service offers a range of one to one support initiatives, group activities and opportunities to reduce isolation and learn new skills.
Welfare Rights and debt advice
The Recovery Service delivers an array of support including welfare rights, debt and housing advice.
Working in partnership with Reinstate, the Recovery Service supports people experiencing mental distress to access education and training, work placements, volunteering opportunities and paid employment.
Individuals can also access peer support activities including mentoring whereby individuals who are at a sufficient stage of recovery support others in their recovery journey.
We provide a variety of volunteering opportunities where individuals can learn new skills and meet others. Contact us for more details.
Referral into Mind in Bexley Recovery Service:
To access the Recovery College a referral form is required from either a Bexley GP, a health practitioner from Oxleas Foundation Trust or IAPT or a social worker at the London Borough of Bexley.
