Mental Health Advocate Job Advert

Mind in Bexley, a leading 3rd sector provider of mental health services in Bexley are looking to recruit a highly motivated person to join the advocacy team at Mind in Bexley. The post will mainly cover working in hospital settings within Bexley Borough and nearby surrounding areas.

This post is open to advocates who have worked within mental health but also to any person sensitive to the needs of people with mental health difficulties, committed to advocating for their rights and having excellent written and verbal skills. We would be able to provide advocacy training for a suitable applicant.

This is a Full time 37.5 hours per week post but open to negotiation if less hours would better suit a successful applicant. The successful applicant will be appointed on a fixed term basis for one year, subject to a six-month probationary period, satisfactory references and a Mind in Bexley Enhanced Clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Pay will be negotiated according to experience and qualifications, using use the NJC scale
