Eco-therapy courses – A guide to a successful allotment

Eco Therapy
An allotment is a great place to grow food and to meet others doing the same thing. It can also be an overwhelming undertaking if you are new to this type of activity.

We provide a variety of sessions, helpful hints and tips to get you started.

Course Details

The allotments will be closed from the end of November and re-open on Thursday 3rd March 2016. The garden will remain open over the wintertime (weather permitting).

Growing herbs: Monthly 12:00 -3:00 PM on varied days throughout the spring and summer
Water use in gardens: Spring/summer 2016 dates TBA
Ecotherapy and mental health: Spring/summer 2016 Dates TBA
Environmental Gardening: Spring/summer 2016 Dates TBC
Planning and Developing workshop: Monday 23rd November 2015 between 12:00 and 3:00 PM at Devonshire Road.

These courses are arranged by our Devonshire road office and will take place across our two allotments sites and Eco-garden.

The days for some sessions will vary depending on the weather and when thing are ready in the allotments.
