Support and Groups

We run a variety of Carers Support groups including;

Weekly group for relatives and friends of someone on Milbrook/Lesney Ward at the Woodlands Unit, Queen Marys, Sidcup

Carers supportRuns every first, third or fifth Wednesday of the month in the Family Room at the Unit between 5:00pm– 6.30pm. Clinical Staff from the Unit attend to speak in general about any concerns you may have.

2 monthly support groups run jointly with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust

For relatives and friends of someone with a Mental Health problem in Bexley; receiving support from the Community Mental Health Team.
A peer support group meets at the Bexleyheath Centre, Emerton Close, Bexleyheath on the second Wednesday of each month between 1pm to 3pm
A speakers group meets at the Erith Centre, Park Crescent, Erith, Kent, DA8 3EE on the fourth Wednesday of every month between 2pm – 4pm

Mind Carers peer support group

Meets 2pm- 4pm every once a month (excluding bank holidays) at St John Vianney Church Hall, 21 Heathfield Rd, Bexleyheath, DA6 8NP
For relatives and friends of someone in Bexley experiencing Mental ill health and/or drug and alcohol problems

Fortnightly family and friends support group run jointly with the Pier Road drug and alcohol project

Runs Every other Tuesday evening 5.30pm – 7pm – Please contact the Carers Support Service regarding the venue.
For relatives and friends affected by another person’s drug or alcohol use

QI GONG AND TAI CHI CLASSES
